Went to the doctors today.  I met with my surgeon.  She said I was doing great.  Everyone was surprised on how well I was doing.  She took off my bandages but I still have the compression wrap and my drains.  I have to get down to less twenty milliliters per day of drainage.  Then I can have them removed.  I can live with them but they get tangled and it sucks to have them in the way.  But I can drive again.  I drove to the store and back today.  It hurt a little but each day is better.

Not considered cancer free yet.  That will take 5 years at least.  But I am a cancer survivor.  Still waiting to find out if I need chemo.  Only 25% chance.  But if I do it will only be 4 treatments over 3 months.  I can handle that.  Still waiting to find out about reconstruction.  Won't be able to do that for a little while.   Oh well.  No need for a bra.  Have to look at the bright side of things.

I did receive many meals from friends this week.  And a great pillow from a friend.  Plus my aunt visited and brought homemade cinnamon rolls.  Yummy lekker.

Looking forward to a wedding this weekend for my mom's best friend.  I can't go to everything as I had planned but I will not miss the ceremony.  I even get to wear my tiara.  Trying to figure out to do with my drains so they do not show but I will figure it out.

Love to everyone.  Hope everyone else is doing well.

Love ya,
