I’ve heard some of you say that you wish you had been able to see La’s final home. I know that many of you would have visited her had it not been for the pandemic. You’ll recall that she moved into a brand new condo to Ellicott city in May of 2019. Not coincidentally, it is only a stones throw from our Mom’s place. La loved being involved in the decision-making during the build process and put her interior design background to good use. She was also a frequent presence on the job site to check on progress.
Moving from her Frederick home to a 2 bedroom condo was no small task and we can’t thank our cousin Barb enough for being such a tremendous help to La in paring down her many possessions. La was quite proud of the end result and I hope you enjoy the pictures.
While it is very sad that she was only able to enjoy it for 7 months before becoming ill, we are grateful it was such a pleasurable 7 months for her, and it was wonderful having her so close and in such a comfortable space during her subsequent 7 month illness.
