Journal entry by Diane Rene —
Hello Family and Friends,
Well, here we are - the first day of Fall.
I must say things have been rather rocky for Mom.
She fell a few weeks ago- which caused fractured ribs - the development of pneumonia - and a forehead laceration.
After staying in the hospital for a week, she was then transferred to their on site rehab program where she was only able to manage minimal progress - however, some progress. The goal was for her to be able to manage at least 50 percent of ones daily needs, so she will be going into a long term care facility that will offer her daily rehabilitation with hopes that she will get stronger and able to manage that 50 percent of her own. With these goals obtained, she will be able to return to her home at Walton Place.
Please keep Mom in your thoughts and prayers.
Love to you all, Diane
