Laura’s Story

After dealing with a kidney infection and dehydration, Laura was admitted to the ICU with sepsis on 5/1.  While initially responding to therapies, on Monday 5/4, she took a turn for the worse. Laura needed to be intubated and had a series of medical setbacks.  She currently is sedated in the ICU at Dartmouth Hospital and is in critical condition.  So many friends and family members have been following the Avers through this difficult time so utilizing this Caring Bridge will help keep communications simpler for the family.  So much love and prayer is being poured out toward Laura and Mark and we hope this site will help channel those prayers effectively.

Dear friends joining us via Livestream for Laura's Celebration of Life...we have a correction for the livestream lin...please see below: 

A Celebration of Laura’s Life and Home Going will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at CenterPoint Church Lewis Center 6861 Bale Kenyon Road, Lewis Center, Ohio

Due to Covid19 the service is invitation only; however, please feel welcome to join us for the livestream service from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at www.CenterPointChurches.com/eventstream.

Also, drive by “car calling hours” will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at CenterPoint Church, Lewis Center, 6861 Bale Kenyon Road, Lewis Center, Ohio.

Our entire family wants to thank you all again for your kind expressions of sympathy, and your heartfelt love for our Laura!
