Journal entry by Ginger Wilcox —
Today, with profound sadness, we announce that our father, Larry Rugh, an Air Force veteran who piloted over 450 missions, embarked on his final earthly journey. In his final moments, he was surrounded by those he loved most: my sister, our mother Diana, his cherished collies Jasmine and Jasper, and I.
As we grapple with his loss, we find comfort in knowing he's free from pain and is now reunited with his parents, his siblings, and our departed pets: Pepper, Smokey, and Pumpkin.
Mom and Dad shared almost 54 years of marriage filled with countless memories. We will forever cherish the summers spent in the White Mountains, the pickup basketball games, the endless hours in the garden, and our beloved weekly family taco and game nights.
A source of immense joy in his life was his time with his grandchildren: Audrey, Micaela, Ian, Gavin, Nyx, and Summer. His extended family, Eli, Bella, and Cheryl, also had a special place in his heart. They shared many fond moments, an endless stream of bad jokes, and lots of love.
As we navigate this new chapter, we appreciate your continued thoughts and support. We are deeply grateful for all the love you've shown our family.
