Hi Friends! Larry is at day 122!! After the stem cell transplant he did not have any chemo for over 100 days, which was so nice. His recent test results confirmed he is still in remission (PRAISE GOD)!!! The multiple myeloma is now treated as a chronic illness (presently no actual cure), and he is expected to be on a maintenance regimen for the rest of his days. Last Sunday he started the two chemo pills, one daily for 21/28 days and one weekly 3/4 weeks. So basically one week off each 28 day cycle. He is adjusting pretty well, with some fatigue and a bit of nausea. There will be bone strengthening infusions and checkups monthly, and a meeting with the spine doc to address his persistent back pain. But he is able to do physical work nearly every day, and his mind is always busy planning the next project ;)

Today was momentous...we were ACTUALLY, BODILY present with our church family in worship and hearing of the Word <3 It has been about a year since we could do this, and we are so thankful to be back. In answer to many prayers, Jesus has humbled and cared for us through everything, and we know He will never leave us.

Once again, thanks to each of you for your love and support! It means so much to both of us. Don't think you will hear from us via this site again, as Larry is through the big hoops, and we hope to be seeing most of you IN PERSON again :)

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
