We are in a quiet place right now. The 2 furry kids are sleeping. Our cat Cinnamon is curled up in Lani’s big brown chair. Has been there most of the time since Lani’s death. We three are nestled up at night in our big ‘ol bed.
The background sounds of oxygen equipment
and her electric scooter have been replaced by a stillness that asks to be left just as is for now.
So many cards received from so many friends & family. Thank you. I read and reread each one. This brings each of you in for a brief visit.
Next week l will pursue the task of starting the necessary paperwork to transfer or close accounts. All the business of moving into the tomorrows.
Be well & know my gratitude for your prayers and kindnesses soothe the tender edges l feel.
