Lance’s Story

Site created on October 10, 2022

Welcome to Lance's CaringBridge website. We are not using the fundraising feature, so PLEASE DO NOT DONATE (it's been covered). We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place as we realize not everyone "enjoys" the social media platforms of Facebook and Instagram.

A fun mountain biking expedition in June turned into shortness of breath, racing heart, and a trip to the ER so it was a definite shock when the Big Bear ER found an 11cm mass just over the vena cava (large vein that carries blood to the heart). A biopsy revealed b-cell Lymphoma, Stage 4 in the initial mass and Stage 2 in the two outlier spots just above the original site. Treatment is six rounds of chemo (a session every 21 days) and lots of prayers and love. Lance has truly been awestruck by the prayers, support, and love poured over him, and we are deeply grateful for your encouragement as a warrior for Lance . Thank you for visiting.
