Journal entry by Kendra Broussard —
Lance had his post op appointment with the eye surgeon on Monday and the Dr said everything looked just perfect. His left eye is now spot on and even with the right eye. Today he had a CT scan and then a follow up with the Neuro surgeon. The scans looked great with no spinal fluid leaks or air pockets on the brain. The neurosurgeon medically released him and signed the forms for Lance to start driving again. Mom said he was so excited to drive home from Houston. Dr. Williams told Lance “CONGRATULATIONS you have graduated from The Academy of Neurosciences with TOP HONORS!”
I want to personally thank all 40.6K visitors for following the updates and praying for my brother. The past 7 months have been a rollercoaster but also a miracle to witness. From the medical team in Beaumont having 30 minutes to save his life to where he is today, there’s only one explanation. I hope his journey to recovery is able to give people hope and confirmation that we serve an amazing God. Thank you all for being a part of the reason my brother is still with us today!
