Lana’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Lana had surgery at Sanford Hospital in Fargo (north Broadway location) to repair a hiatal hernia on February 14th. She had breathing complications after surgery and was transferred to the ICU on Saturday Feb 17th. She is on a ventilator and is under heavy sedation. Her breathing trials are getting a little better each day. We are hopeful she will be able to be weaned off the ventilator in the coming days. We'll keep you posted on her progress.

Lana passed away peacefully today at 5:45AM. Words can't express how sad we are, and also how grateful for all the support we have received. She will be greatly missed.
