Sorry I haven’t been able to update I got locked out of the site somehow but I was able to get back into the site today!! We are at clinic today. Last week Lainey’s counts were getting low at 740 so we figured she wouldn’t make it today. Surprisingly she made it and they had jumped up to 1100. She got her port accessed and we went back to get a Lumbar Puncture. They shot chemo up her spine and let her sleep it off a bit. She is up snacking away now. She didn’t even cry with finger poke or port access at all today. She is doing so great and proves to be a little trooper. We start the dreaded steroids again for the next 5 days so we will be eating a lot I’m sure. We are finishing up with a couple port meds including a second chemo today and then I bet you can’t guess what she wants for lunch…..Mexican(lol) We will be back in a couple weeks for a re-check. We got to see our friends Katie and Jase today at clinic too!  Now we get to go celebrate big sissy because it’s her Birthday. Hooray for a good day so far!!
