Laine’s Story

This CaringBridge website is where friends and family can find updates on Laine’s health journey. In mid-March 2022, Laine was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, Glioblastoma (GBM), to be specific.  If you are new here, you can get up to speed by using the "Read More Journal Entries" button and reading the prior journal entries.

I have been asked to post the video of Laine’s Celebration of Life service here for those who didn’t see it in person or on Facebook.

We miss him so much, but we are so thankful that for the majority of this last 15 months, he was relatively pain free. The inconveniences of his decreased mobility and slower cognition just brought us closer together, and we are so grateful to have had the quality time that we were given. The assurance of heaven is what carries us. We will meet again…

Thank you for all of your kind words, stories, cards and gifts.

He meant so much to so many. ❤️
