Bronson & Lael’s Story

For introduction, I am one of Lael Erickson's daughter-in-laws and married to her oldest son Thad. Lael suffered a very serious stroke this morning, Wednesday March 15th. She is currently in the ICU at Abbott Hospital, resting peacefully, but doctors state that she had a large brain bleed which caused the stroke and that she has lost function on her left side. 


Additionally, Bronson was also admitted to the hospital due to bronchitis which turned into pneumonia and he will be staying there for several days. Bronson is resting as best as possible with oxygen support and antibiotic treatments. This site was created to call on prayer warriors (of all faiths) to pray for Bronson & Lael and the family and to keep communication open during this challenging time. We will continue to update with any new information.

Good evening. 
Hope you all are doing well. 
It has been pretty busy this last week as Bronson has moved to an apt at an assisted living facility here in Rush City.  He has been there for one week today and is doing very well.  He’s adapted there amazingly and has been liking it. Of course he wishes mom was still here and that he could be at their house, but taking things day by day seems to help. 
He’s at Walker Methodist, Rusheba Station.
