Journal entry by Jim Carlton

Good morning. Many of you have been asking for an update on Kris.

As most of you are aware, Kris has been home now for a couple of weeks. She is continuing with outpatient rehab for Occupational and Physical therapy.
She no longer needs to be on any antibiotics, so yesterday they removed the PICC line from her arm.
The recent MRI of her brain showed that the swelling has gone down considerably, and the recent CatScan of her liver was clear.
She had an appointment with a neurologic optometrist this week, and he ordered prescription glasses that he believes will help with her blurred and double vision, dizziness, and related headache issues. She has also moved from walking with a walker to walking with a cane the majority of the time.
Please continue to pray as Kris continues to show improvement in so many areas. Pray for her strength, spiritually, physically, and mentally.

Thank you again for all of your encouragement and prayers.
Patients and caregivers love hearing from you; add a comment to show your support.
