Journal entry by Pat Tuttle

I want to thank everyone who came out to support Kristin at her benefit on Saturday. there was an amazing turnout of people love and support. I could not get through this journey with her without everyone else’s support as well. I love my daughter. She’s all I have left. I need her to continue to fight and get over this and not have to worry about everything. All of the money that was raised on Saturday will help take care of some of those burdens, and get her to the next phase of this fight.
Today she went in to have her typical blood draw on her port site. She does this every Monday to get the numbers to see if chemo is possible the very next day today was a very big challenge. They could not get any blood return all of the flushes kept going in without a problem. The needle was where it needed to be but no blood return Was stuck. They kept putting medicine in her port to try to break up this blood clot that was in the way three hours later. It finally broke loose and they were able to get blood return numbers came back today and they are beautiful. Going in for round 6 of chemo tomorrow.(14 to go)

I will be picking her up at 8 o’clock and bringing her to her chemo appointment and sitting there with her once again we will be playing cribbage on her brand new cribbage board that she was given as a gift.
