Kristen’s Story

Site created on October 24, 2023

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit Kristen's page. Kristen, her husband, Jay, her daughter, Avery, my parents, and my brother and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued prayers and thoughts as God heals her injuries. We have set up this page for you to leave comments and well wishes. Many of you have expressed a desire to help by sending donations or meals. Now that she is recovering at home, feel free to sign up to deliver a meal and/or send a gift card directly to Kristen through her Meal Train (see link in 10/30 post or tap the “ways to help” tap at the top) You can also email them to Danielle, her sister, at Dani@socolifestylenutrition.com or sent by mail to our parents house: Rick & Lisa Lindsey: 196 Stoneforest Drive, Woodstock, GA 30189. We will let you know as needs evolve.

Many have asked questions regarding the accident and injuries that resulted. On the evening of October 14th, Kristen and her husband, Jay, were heading home from Downtown Woodstock in their golf cart. From our understanding, Jay was taking a turn at the same time Kristen bent down to grab her phone. Unfortunately, her seat belt was not on, and she rolled out hitting her head on the pavement. After several hours of the pain not subsiding, she was admitted to the hospital on Monday, October 16th where she remained for almost two weeks until she came home yesterday evening. Injuries sustained include a double concussion, skull fracture that extends into parts of her ear, a brain bleed, and neck pain from the whiplash of the fall. She is currently working to walk unassisted. Fortunately, the doctors have assured us that she will make a full recovery albeit a long one. Please keep up with post below as we give updates from here.

Your support, prayers, and words of hope and encouragement are appreciated! Thank you again for visiting. ❤️
