I have what is termed a glioblastoma(s). The biggest one was removed surgically at Cedar Sinai. I have two remaining that were always planned to be addressed with radiation and chemotherapy based mostly on location. I am blessed to have a badass team both in LA and here in Bozeman of creative, brilliant and truly the best of the best. 

They are fast tracking here, but it’s a lot to coordinate, so I will now start both chemo and radiation on Thursday of this week. I will go Monday- Friday with the last date being June 13. During this period we will evaluate the two current trials and set the next steps. I will stay on chemo for 6 months after for sure and likely will have a weekly directed radiation in LA for the following 4 weeks. The helmet would be next but basically we monitor progress and make some decisions as we go. 

My testing came back and I am methylated which means I should respond well to treatment- so that’s great news. My treatment only takes 30 minutes and I am set for 8 am starts for most all of them. I am  excited to get started and kick out these hitch hikers.

I am so overwhelmed by all of your prayers, messages and support and am so grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life. This is a challenge I am up for and will fight in every way possible. 

Thank you for all offers to help. I am all set and cooking is my form of therapy. Working is as well, so you will see me back in the office 
