Kody’s Story

Hi everyone, I (Amanda) just wanted to create a space to update everyone on Kody. On Saturday night Kody was in an ATV accident, he was then transported to deer river hospital and then flown to St Mary’s in Duluth. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and underwent brain surgery Sunday morning. They removed the left side of his skull to allow his left brain to swell further. At this time it is a waiting game. We just watch the swelling and for neurological improvements. Kody will need to remain in the ICU While his skull is removed for around another 4-6months. Please keep Kody and family in your thoughts and prayers.

THANK YOU!!!! Seriously- thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has supported us and who come out to support us today at Kody’s benefit. We are absolutely blown away by how many people we have surrounding us with love and support- today was simply amazing. I haven’t seen Kody so happy since his accident- his face absolutely lit up seeing all his friends, coworkers, and family today- this meant so much to him. He misses everyone so much and was so happy to be able to hangout and talk with all of you- we wish we could personally thank each and every one of you- we hope everyone had a wonderful time today!! 💚
