Round 2 down the drain...

Kobe had his 2nd round of chemo last week.  We checked in on Moday and were discharged on Saturday.    As we were walking out of the hospital he said "round 2 down the drain" and gave me knuckles with a big smile.  He is resting at home now and doing really well.  Mentally, this kid is so tough and doesn't complain about anything.   One example I have is when he didn't get out of bed really all week, we had his friend Carter stop by.  They went down to the fun zone at Phx Childrens and after about 20 min or so he said "okay, I'm ready to go back to my room."  He didn't even say I don't feel well or I am tired or anything.  He has said that he only wants to have positive thoughts and words.  It really made me think about myself and how often I say my back hurts or I'm tired or whatever else.  I am learning things everyday from him.  We should all be more intentional with our words and thoughts.  If a 12 year old going through treatment for a brain tumor can do it, I for sure can.  

We appreciate the continued prayers for strength and healing.  Thank you all for the outpouring of love.  He really feels it all.
