Well it wasn’t the news we had been hoping for… 2 months off chemotherapy and back for another scan in Houston today, hopeful that it had not come back. Unfortunately it did come back and it’s back in the bones and a spot on the liver, just like before. It was tough news to take. We had been enjoying not going to the doctor and dealing with all the side effects of the chemo. Starting to feel like a real person again. Now it’s back to the drawing board. We will be starting a new combination therapy next week and see how things go in the next 6-7 weeks before the next scan. Hopefully we can punch this thing right in the mouth again!
