Kinslee’s Story

Site created on April 24, 2024

In August 2021, Kinslee began to experience periods of passing out or seizure like episodes. Within the last year, the episodes have become more frequent. After countless trips to the ER, PCP, and urgent care, we continued to be told she “looks really great” and continued to fight to be heard. In March 2024, Kinslee was finally able to see a neurologist. On April 19, 2024 Kinslee had an MRI that showed a growth on the pineal gland inside her brain. A more extensive MRI was ordered which confirmed Kinslee has a pinealoma, a tumor located on her pineal gland. These tumors are extremely rare and we are lucky to have found hers. We are so grateful for all of the support and hope you’ll continue to follow our journey.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Tiffani Espinosa

Small update. Kinslee will be seeing a new neuro specialist next Friday, May 24th. This will be our fifth doctor added to our medical team. 🫠 She will see this new doctor at Children’s Plano.

I have been quiet this week. I am just filled with so many emotions and one of those is just that I’m too mentally exhausted to share how I’m feeling. How WE are feeling. But we see your messages and your kind words and it is the only thing that keeps us going. One day we will be ready to share everything going on, but for now we’re just going to continue to take things one day at a time
