Journal entry by Todd Veenhuis

This will likely be the final post here on Kim's CaringBridge page, but I wanted to reach out to all of you following her journey to let you know about Kim's Hope, the nonprofit organization I have started in Kim's memory and honor. We are starting formal operations today and would appreciate your support in our mission to help patients with glioblastoma and their families.

Kim’s Hope was formed in memory of, and to honor Kim Veenhuis following her nearly 20-month battle with glioblastoma, the deadliest form of brain cancer. Kim was always looking for opportunities to help others and we are excited to announce we are ready to begin helping families faced with the same diagnosis! The IRS has approved our nonprofit status and our website is up and running.

Please take a few minutes to watch the following video and visit our website at www.kimshope.org to learn more about how we plan to provide financial aid directly to glioblastoma patients and their families in the United States. We are raising funds now, and we ask for your financial support to help continue the legacy of Kim and her desire to help others. We plan to make our first distributions to families in late July!

Thank you for your support!
