Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.


Kim is a wife to husband Mike Skinner, mother to 4 children- Nick (31), Jeremy (23), Justin (22), and Meredith (18), and grandmother to 3 girls- Raelynn (7), Harper (4), and Emerson (1). This past month we got some very unexpected news. My beautiful mother has been diagnosed with stage 1, triple negative breast cancer. Her current treatment plan is surgery and chemotherapy. The surgery will be Wednesday, February 28th at 9:00am at St. Lukes Northland. After she heals from surgery she will be getting chemotherapy. We are not sure yet how many treatments she will need but I will keep you all updated. As of now we just ask for your prayers and for a successful and smooth surgery. If you have any other questions pease don't hesitate to contact me (her daughter Meredith). I will also be the one running this site. I will update you all on surgery day! I just wanted to come on here to thank you all for your incredible support through this whole journey. 2018 took us through a whirlwind, but we came out stronger than ever. My mom is a true blessing and  warrior. She is doing so well and now it is safe to say she has kicked cancers butt for the 3rd time. Here’s to many more years of health and being cancer free! Again thank you all from the bottom of my heart! -Meredith and family
