Today marks the one year anniversary for getting out of the hospital. One year. I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful to God for letting me live. I still don’t remember the first three weeks I was in the hospital. Then they let John come to the hospital and I remember that day forward. I swear if he wasn’t let in, I probably wouldn’t remember anything.
I am still waiting for my leg and arm to work. I have some movement in my right toes, but that’s it. They said 12-18 months so I am praying for it to come back.
My speech is improved a lot. I am still forgetful sometimes, but not as often as before. I would say my speech is about 80-90% there.
Writing is slow. I’m sure it is because I have my left hand doing it. The left hand will be happy when the right hand is working!
Everyday I do my exercises, eat breakfast, and do puzzles. I’m on my 14th puzzle since I started in November. 13 were 1000 puzzle pieces and 1 was 500 pieces. I just finished all but one and now I’ve got 3 more from Amazon.
As I start year two, I continue to appreciate your prayers. I’m looking forward to getting better faster. I’m trying anyway.
Thank you to everyone who reads this. I sincerely appreciate you from the bottom of heart.
Love,
Kim
