Kim’s Story

Site created on August 17, 2023

On Wednesday August 16th Kim suffered a massive stroke while at work. She was airlifted from Princeton Hospital to North Memorial Robbinsdale Hospital where she underwent immediate surgery to remove blood clots that were in her carotid artery and brain. She was admitted to the ICU for continued care however her brain continued to swell causing irreversible damage. On Friday August 18th Kim peacefully passed away with her family by her side. We are blessed that Kim was initially able to recognize her family was with her and was able to express how much she loved everyone before her condition worsened.

Anyone who knew Kim, knew that she was such a bright person. She lit up the lives of every person she came in contact with. She loved so many people and many people loved her. A service is being planned to honor and celebrate the life of Kim. Information regarding Kim's service will be updated here once the plans are finished.

Kim touched the lives of many so please share this page if you are able so we can reach everyone. If you have any special memories or pictures of Kim that you would like to share, please do so on this page and we will keep her light shining! If you are able to or would like to donate any money to the family to help with any funeral/medical expenses you may also do so on this page. Kim's family appreciates any kind words, memories, donations, prayers, and thoughts given by everyone.
