After much prayer and asking myself what is my hesitation to follow up with traditional therapy, I come back to say I have no confidence in my compromised immune system. Struggling with anemia and iron deficiency for almost 6 years, and still at the bottom end of hemoglobin, is not where I feel confident to enter therapies. Also, my white cells, Lymphocytes in particular, have been low for quite some time. They are the cancer killing cells. Hit them with Chemo and what will I have left to fight the potential return of melanoma? These are my questions. I looked at a place in Mexico, Hope4Cancer. It offers many services, but one was Photo Dynamic Therapy. Decided too far away and of course very expensive. I actually prayed that God might have someone that could help just down the road. A friend suggested we call Karlfeldt Center, which coincidently was 2 1/2 miles down the road. When we went for our appointment, the Natural Path was talking about his key feature of Photo Dynamic Therapy. When I told him I had heard of it when I had a conversation with Hope4Cancer, he said he was friends with the Doctor and one of the only two Doctors that offer this in the USA. However it is also expensive. The initial 2 week (10 days), 8 hours a day of intense treatments, will cost around $30,000.
