18 months 1 week post injury, Kim journeyed back to St Paul - Regions Burn Center / Health Care Partners - ENT for his first in-person follow up appointment. We met with the surgical team and discussed laser treatments in order to loosen up the tightness of the healed skin grafts on the neck/arms/chest regions. Kim wants to take on the first of possibly up to 12 laser sessions. 

Scar release surgery is an option in the future as well; requiring a more in depth and prolong hospital stay in order to recover for greater flexibility. 

We attended a Vikings outdoor evening practice at TCO stadium. Kim simply stated, “A lifetime opportunity” with a huge smile. 

We’re back home in Minot city, awaiting approval for the first laser surgery estimated to be in a few weeks. #SKOL
