Kim’s Story

Site created on August 19, 2022

***TRIBUTES go to CaringBridge, NOT Kim (see below:)***
After a weekend of working deals, meeting clients and holding listings open (just the typical crazy-busy schedule Kim maintains with ease), she noticed a headache unrelieved by rest. On Monday morning, her headache sharply worsened, her vision became blurry and her husband Tim brought her to the ER. On Wednesday August 17th, she had emergent brain surgery for Stage 4 Glioblastoma tumor removal. Currently in the ICU, Kim’s making significant improvements. The road to recovery will be long, but we’re determined to win this battle. Follow our journey here with daily updates by her daughter Kaleigh.

While we’re grateful for the Tributes to CaringBridge made on Kim’s behalf, if you’d like to donate to her recovery please do so here:

Or to Glioblastoma research here:

If you’ve made a tribute and would like a refund, please email the Help Center: “if donors on your site donated thinking the funds were going to the individual please let them know they can contact us for a refund. They can contact us through our help center or they can reply directly to the email receipt they received when they made the donation.”

Newest Update

Journal entry by Kaleigh Morgan

Thank you for the outpouring of love and support during the last 11 months, especially the last week since Mom’s passing. This adjustment has been extremely difficult and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we start to respond to the many who’ve reached out.

Mom’s obituary is in the San Francisco Chronicle today and in the Marin IJ yesterday. Both of which are online and on Monte’s Chapel of the Hills website.

Please join us in celebrating Kim’s life on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11 am at St. Anselm’s Church in San Anselmo, CA.  There will be a viewing on Thursday and Friday from 4-7 pm at Monte’s Chapel of the Hills if you’d like to come and pay your respects.

We are expecting a large attendance for Kim's funeral mass, many of whom will be very emotional. We ask that parents use their best judgment in considering whether or not to bring their children to the services.

If you have pictures or memories with mom that you would like added to the Celebration of Life slideshow, please comment with your email address below and we will add you to the GooglePhotos album.

Thank you all,

Love the Morgans
