It has been a long road, but Kimberly is officially less than one week from completing treatment! She had her final chemo treatment yesterday and will continue with daily radiation through Tuesday 4/9. She has struggled with typical side effects including fatigue, indigestion and being tender at the site of treatment. That said, she continues to be in good spirits and is looking forward to crossing the finish line. Kimberly and Hawk remain ever so grateful for the support of their family and friends. The regular cards, flowers and delicious food have made their days brighter and their dinner time routine easier.

Kimberly is especially grateful to her daughters for taking turns at helping and their husbands and families for being understanding and supportive of the disruptions in regular routine. The entire family are hopeful that this treatment will prove successful and updates will be provided once Kimberly has a scan, expected to be 6-8 weeks after completing treatment. Please keep everyone in your prayers and know that the family feels all the love and support!
