Mom is going home today! She just got official word and is excited and ready. Her medical team will continue keeping a close eye on her with multiple visits weekly as an outpatient, but at least she gets to go home - sleep in her own bed and be with Larry and her dogs again!
Overall Mom is doing well. She is still dealing with mouth and throat sores, but those are slowly improving. She will continue to use a walker as she gets her strength back, but I have a feeling she will need it for only a short amount of time. Being home will allow her to get up and move around more freely.
We are beyond excited and so happy for her! She is a fighter and so strong! Love you Mom!
