She is ONE!!! 

One complete year, we have been loving our sweet, Kiara Lynn! At 8:27am on 11/14/19, our baby entered this world. Although I never want to be back to those first moments, I’m so very grateful for where we are today! God has provided for us endlessly. This journey would have felt utterly impossible without every prayer, every lending hand, every word of encouragement and all the help & support along the way. We will never be able to thank you all enough but we will continue to pay it forward whenever we can! 

I haven’t updated in awhile because there isn’t much to update on which is great! We are doing so well over here! Kiara continues to grow beautifully, always learning new things! She is a professional barrel roller, she can roll across our house in record time. She is starting to army crawl, loves to repeat sounds and short words (like “poop”) and is eating all sorts of food. She still enjoys soft food so we are going to give her some pudding & whip cream as a bday celebratory “cake smash” today!! Kiara has 2 teeth, lots of smiles, a “shotgun” fake laugh (like a slow stuttered fake laugh) that keeps us all laughing. She loves clapping & waving with her big dimpled smile! She growls, especially at her brothers, except Elias who is easily, without question, her favorite person in this house. He probably tells her that “hers so beautiful” 20 times a day & she is constantly smitten by him. Her sisters have never stop adoring her & she will always be there tiny baby. We just love watching Kiara’s little personality that is filling up our house with so much love! 

We are currently still working closely with OT (occupational therapy) to continue helping Kiara to meet her milestones & still keeping an eye on her big noggin’, although those just run in our family so I’m hopeful there will be no issues there & she’ll eventually grow into that head. Haha! She’s around 18lbs & getting lots of hair coming in fast! At this point she is where we would expect her to be according to her adjusted age (9.5 months). :)

Now I will be waiting patiently for her to wake up this morning! I can’t wait to snuggle her!! Feeling extra blessed that I can do just that!
