Newest Update

Journal entry by Mike Wyatt

A post holiday update for everyone.  Things have been going great.  I got the best birthday present ever.  Ken had a CAT scan of his chest and abdomen last week and got the results this Tuesday.  The spot on his lung has shrunk to the point of it is almost gone.  The spot(s) on his adrenal glands have shrunk considerably since the last scan as well.  Had an MRI earlier in the month and that looked good with no new legions detected.  Treatment continues to be good after the hiccup a few months ago.  His appetite and fatigue still seems to come and go but it is better than it had been.  He feels pretty good and had a good holiday week.

His boss asked him to come back to work part time to help train some new people which has been good to keep a bit busier.  I think he was coming close to having watched everything Netflix and Amazon had to offer!  As of now he will keep working PT for a couple months to help out and then plans on retiring (about time!).  At any rate, he is doing great and if you want to chat, just shoot him a text or call.  Other than watching the 3 grandsons sports and Gopher hoops, he will be running out of stuff to do with no job in the spring.  :)

Hope all is well with all of you!
