Ken’s Story

Site created on March 9, 2023

Ken was originally diagnosed with prostate cancer September 2016, which was stage IV by April 2017. He was doing well on treatment for a while, but even the latest treatments at Mayo seemed to stop working by the fall of 2022. Day to day functioning has been tough since then. We'll keep ongoing updates here.

Journal entry by Angie O’Donnell

Hi everyone-

Due to the expected inclement weather impacting the Aberdeen area Tues/Wed (blizzard + 6-8" of snow), out of concern for everyone's safety, we made the decision to move the service back one day to Friday, April 7, 10:30am, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home. Still doing visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Thanks for understanding.
