Hi, it’s Michael and it’s with a heavy heart that I write that Dad passed away early this morning.  It will come as no surprise that he fought to the very end, and to that end, he was surrounded by his family whom he loved, and who loved and will miss him always.   Outside of family, his friends were the most important thing in his life; it was a mark of distinction and pride for Dad to say you were his friend.  On behalf of his family, thank you for that friendship, and the outpouring of love and support that he got to the end.
