Journal entry by Tami Rakke —
Hello everyone,
I cannot believe that the last time that I updated was in May. So much has happened and it has been busy. Kenny is doing well and starting to regain strength. He actually went golfing today for the first time in 2 years today. He was able to make it and was not too exhausted afterwards. Thank you Dan for being his co pilot today! We are still going to the mayo, just not as frequent. His tests last week from bone marrow biopsy came back showing no signs of Vexas, which is amazing! He continues to get stronger and is well on road to recovery. He is home now and we go to the mayo only a couple or so days a month. Thank you to the ones that have called him and encouraged him through all this. I will say it has been the most scary event in our lives and those phone calls and warm wishes have made us feel normal despite the fear and aloneness of a horrible diagnosis. I am thankful to God that he gives us strength through all the support. Thank you to you all for thoughts, prayers, and phone calls. It has been invaluable during this time.
