The doctors at Maryland asked me and my family to talk about the care for Ken.

My Mom, Dad and I made our way over to Baltimore this morning. We met with his doctor and she spoke with us about Ken and his plan for care. She showed us his lungs on the CT scan they took most recently and explained to us the plan of action and exactly how sick his lungs are.

She said this is going to be a very long road. It will be a marathon. We have these goals and we are not sure how long it wl take to get to each one. The next goal for Ken is to get him off of sedation. After that a trache. We are taking it week by week at this point with hope to see improvements. 

I believe he is in the best care. I know he is strong and determined and will make the improvements needed. Please continue to believe he will get through this. Staying strong for Ken is what he needs. I know he is fighting. I know he will continue to fight.

God is great. Continue the prayers. Remember that every day is not guaranteed so learn to forgive, call your loved ones. Know that there is something bigger than you. We all are here for Gods purpose.
