Kenneth’s Story

Site created on January 13, 2023

The many of us who know and love Kenneth may already know how his health journey began: On New Year’s Day a decade ago, while attempting 100 burpees in 7 minutes as his pregnant wife and two-year-old son slept, he felt an intense pain that landed him in the ER. This led to the discovery of a tumor the size of a racquetball on his left kidney. Kenneth met that news with his trademark positivity and strength. He’s fought hard and smart as the cancer emerged in multiple locations over the years, and triumphed over challenge after challenge while creating a life filled with beauty, service, deep connection, long runs, intense gratitude and so, so much love. His family is heartbroken to learn that Kenneth is now approaching the end of this amazing life. We will update this page as we are able. Please feel free to share your thoughts, stories and prayers to help buoy us all during this sad and difficult time. Thank you for being here.
