Journal entry by Kenna Doscher —
Kenna sounded much better when we talked yesterday. They reinserted a chest tube 2 days ago to drain fluid that was collecting. It seems the fluid is slowing down, which has relieved some of her pain. They will determine whether they can remove the NG tube today, which would indicate proper stomach function. Her legs are still pretty swollen so they did an ultrasound and ruled out any blood clots. Her blood sugar levels are a bit difficult to control, which leaves her feeling sick. She’s still in pain, but it’s getting better. One day at a time. Keep the prayers coming. 🤍
