Kenley’s diagnosis is myasthenia gravis, a rare neuromuscular/autoimmune condition. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers. She is now at home and the treatment has begun to take effect. We are so relieved.

Journal entry by Ria Bawek

Today was Kenley’s first IVIG infusion as an outpatient. It went very well, and so far she has not experienced any negative side effects. We are so thankful that the medication and treatments are working. Kenley is so brave and strong! She is also back to school—going the full day now. A huge shout out to her school and the team of nurses. They are wonderful. Thanks everyone for continuing to keep Kenley in your thoughts as she navigates a new normal.
