Journal
Dad wouldn't believe it. After 3 years of writing, re-writing and editing his book, "Redemption Comes Hard", it is now published. We held our first copy 28 days after Dad passed away. We had promised him we would take care of the final stages of publication and printing. He said he hoped at least that the grandchildren would read it, "and maybe a few other people who might be interested". He really had hoped to write inside the grandkids' copies.
Hundreds of copies have been sold and many friends and family have read it or are studying it with their small group. We are so thankful for this gift Dad left us. We have been so encouraged by the promises of God that Dad reminds us of as he walks us through the life of Joseph.
Our new friend, Bill, at Connections Christian Bookstore in Lynden asked Mom if she would like to have a day of "signing" Dad's book and celebrating it's release. She cried at the suggestion and gladly accepted his gracious offer. We hope to do just that this Saturday from 10-1 at the Fairway Center. Bill will have books available for purchase or you can take yours in to have it personalized with a stamp of Dad's signature. We know some of you may have one wrapped under the Christmas tree but we hope you unwrap it and come see us anyway. Dad really wouldn't believe it.
Merry Christmas, dear friends.
