Journal entry by Kendall King —
It has been 4 months since I submitted my medical records to the FAA in order to return to work. I received a letter on December 23 that my application has been approved. The next step was to see my local aviation medical examiner for a standard physical. I completed that yesterday and I am now officially cleared to return to work. I will have several weeks of simulator training before I can actually fly and I have no idea when that will happen. I am so thankful for health.
Thank you all for your support over the last 18 months. Yes, it has been a year and half since my last flight and it feels much longer than that to me. It would have been a lot harder without the amazing support of Heather, my family, and all of you.
