After many many months of pelvic pain, and going to multiple doctors, it was discovered that she had a tumor the size of a football in her abdomen. She had surgery to remove the endometrial growth at UNMC in Omaha on 4/24/2018, it unfortunately was a cancerous tumor, it was Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma, Stage 4B Advanced, high grade. This is Kelly's journey to kick cancer's butt.

Kelly went to Heaven on April 6, 2020.  She will always be remembered for her faith, beauty, strength, courage, and her desire to be the best at everything she did.  She looked at everything in life as a race, she always tried to come in first, and she usually did. Thank you for all of your prayers and support over the last couple of years. Below is the link to a recording of her service.
