Happy Spring everyone!!
It has been a little while again since I have come on to update you all on Kelly’s treatment. At the beginning of the year Kelly officially started his TWO years of maintenance chemo!!
This essentially means more medicine for us to do at home an less frequent visits to the clinic. He takes one oral chemo EVERY single evening, we add another oral chemo on top of that once a week on Thursdays and then oral antibiotics on the weekends to prevent pneumonia. Then once every 3 months he has to go in for a lumbar puncture, IV chemo and then a 5 day blip of steroids twice a day (bring on the hotdogs)
He has been doing remarkable. Really hardly have much to report besides he is growing and talking up a storm! Still riding his bike like a crazy man and he is POTTY trained woohooooo!!!
thanks for all of your love and support!
