With the Holiday season approaching Kelli wanted to share with everyone how she and her family are doing. Her message is below.
“I find myself feeling annoyed with my hair these days but thankful to have it 😁 It's been about 6 months since I finished chemotherapy. I still occasionally experience fatigue but feel pretty normal otherwise. I have returned to work and our crazy school and kid activity schedule. Normal life is so so amazing. I couldn't be more thankful for all the people who have helped us get here.
We have done many things this past year as a family but there are still so many things that we want to do and WILL do ❤️
We continue to be overwhelmed by the support and love we all have received from all of you.
I will continue to have MRIs every other month. Every other MRI will be done locally with virtual Oncology appointments to follow. This allows us to be home more with the kids.
It's funny, the greatest gifts are the days that I actually forget about GBM and the fact that there is anything wrong with me.
We are looking forward to celebrating many weddings with family and friends in the coming year and a couple family trips.
We should be back down in Rochester sometime in December. Prayers always appreciated 🙏 “
