Journal entry by Dar McCallum —
Hello friends:
Keith went home to be with the Lord yesterday afternoon at 5 pm. Our family had a wonderful day that day. Keith's' favorite holiday is Christmas, so Kyle, Caitlin, their 2 daughters, Diane and Joanna, and Sean came over to help decorate the house. We listened to Christmas music, including Handel's Messiah, which Keith loved, and also watched the Browns win, for once. Fifteen minutes after everyone left, Keith quietly slipped away to be with Jesus as I held his hand and talked to him.
Our family is so grateful to all of our family, friends and church who have wallked with us through this journey. You have given so much encouragement, laughter, tears and support. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. What a journey it has been! We saw the Lord work in our lives and in our church in amazing ways. How wonderful to know we will see him again!
There will be a memorial service sometime in the next week or so. I will post the details as soon as we have them nailed down.
