Keith’s Story

Site created on November 10, 2022

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Im using Caring Bridge to keep everyone informed and updated. It’s difficult and emotionally draining to personally call everyone.

Keith thought he had a bad tooth but it was a tumor on his gum. After numerous tests we met with the surgeon to find out the results. We were told he has squamous cell carcinoma.
He will be having surgery on Wednesday November 16th. They will remove the tumor and the lymph nodes on the same side of his neck. After several weeks of healing he will have 6 weeks of radiation. We would appreciate all your positive thoughts and prayers. Thank you in advance for your support.♥️ Please refer back to this Caring Bridge site for updates as I will be focusing on Keith.

Journal entry by Tori Hagford

My dad, Keith Hagford passed away on Tuesday, May 23. I don’t have any words to explain how I feel at this time. My mom, my brother, my sister and I are getting by. We are planning a celebration of life and we’re hoping for a big turnout. My dad asked for a party and I think we can give him that.

Saturday June 3rd
St. Phillips - Fridley

1 pm gathering
2 pm service
3 pm meeting at a bar (probably Sunset, but they have bingo at 5, so we may do somewhere else)

There will be no food or drinks provided at the service.
