Journal entry by Laura Ashcroft —
Keith returned back home to Orlando on Sunday. He was warmly received by his family and wonderful neighbors. It was a bittersweet day for me I must admit. I am so thrilled to see him healthy and ready to take on the next phase of his life. The time that my family and I got to spend with him in our home over the last 3 months truely was a gift. Keith is the most optimistic person I know. Watching him go through his transplant and recovery has taught me so much about the fragility of life. He is a rock star! Never complained, always optimistic even through some of the unexpected speed bumps. To be by his side for the ups and downs is something I will always treasure. Thank you for all the support you haven given him along the way and I know will continue to do as his family and friends. He is a lucky guy to be loved by so many. I made a little tribute video for him and will share and post of Facebook. For some reason it won’t let me post it to this site. Love and health to all. ❤️ Laura
