Keith’s Story

Site created on April 14, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Keith started this journey about 5 weeks ago. It all started with what seemed  the same flu like symptoms Jackie and the grand kids, Kayden (2) and Maddie (1) had, yet he did not get over his.  So he went to the doctor to find that his pancreas level was a little high.  The 2nd test showed the same thing, so a CT scan was ordered.  What that test  showed rocked our entire world.  A 10 cm mass on the liver.  Yes he has cancer.  This cancer is fast growing, and has grown into the bone on the right leg and throughout various places on his lymph nodes.  Keith is a fighter, a warrior if you will.  He plans to beat this thing and be back to the same feisty, funny man we all know.  We ask prayers, good thought, great vibes.  Thank you for reading our story.  We will try to keep this updated for all of you to check on as you like.  It makes it much easier to relay information so that we may fight as a family to help Keith in this time of hard work.  Blessings on your journey as you travel with us.
