Keirney arrived home around noon today and brought with her a lot of sunshine. She was greeted by Mason (our oldest) and a very happy doggie who did about 25 360’s and jumps in every direction possible. 

The next stage includes multiple trips back to the hospital (3 days a week for now) for labs and likely additional infusions of platelets. Unfortunately, her port is still in as a result. We expect the next couple of weeks to be filled with a lot of sleep; however, she is able to get outside a bit and is encouraged to get some activity. The next milestone is Day 100 which will include some fireworks since it is so close to July 4th - 100 days is July 7th. 

The team at UMMS were incredible and we could not have asked for better care and bedside manner. Truly heroes!
