Journal entry by Marcy Williams

Hello Everyone!

I am here for my last full week before I start school for this next school year (whatever that may look like?) Today they had new wood floor installed so that the chair will be easier to move around and not tear up carpet. It looks so nice!

Tomorrow dad is taking mom to Tyler to see a doctor about her hurt shoulder. Then on August 20 they have an appointment with a neurologist. Hoping to find answers about maybe why she was falling so often and also to find out what is going on with her hands and arms. We are unable to touch her, which makes it hard to basically do anything we need to for her. She is so extremely sensitive that to touch her hands or arms feels like pins and needles times 100.

The last stay in the hospital for the clots was a huge setback. She is no longer driving her wheelchair or feeding herself anymore. Most of the time she just doesn’t want to be messed with and she wants to stay in bed and watch tv. Hopefully we can find some answers from the neurologist and things can start to get better.
